Film or book

In my opinion a better film was "Three colors: Blue" from 1993 and the director was Kieslowski (more or less). It's the first of the trielogy of fims dealing with contemporary French society. It's about how the wife of a composer deals with the death of her husband and child. Of course it's a drama and it stars Juliette Binoche. Movie shows sensations and feelings communicated almost exclusively across the light, the music, and the looks. I think it's a masterpiece.
