first time

Hi, this is the first time I write in this page.

Today is Spring, but It's snow, I like seeing snow very much.

My name is Mª Luisa, and I'm a teacher in a little school, with one hundred of children.

I study English because I love learning a lot of things in my free time.

I love pets and walking with they in the country.

  1. Hi Maria Luisa, I am Esti your fellow student,
Today is Spring, but It's snow---> Yo no diría hoy es primavera, diría ahora estamos en primavera. Primavera yo creo que es minúsculas y "it" también. Yo pondría:
Now it is spring but it is snowing.
Te gustan las mascotas y pasear con ellas por la ciudad. No sé de dónde eres pero supongo que como mascota tendrás perros si paseas con ellos y yo pondría que paseo por la calle.
I love dogs and I like walking with them in the street.
I DON'T KNOW IF MY CORRECTS ARE OK, SO WAIT ANN'S ANSWERS.
    Bye fonow!
    Esti

    1. Thank you Esti!!!

My pets are six female dogs and I love going for walks with them through the countryside.

Thanks for your answers, you helped me improve my English. Next time I write, I'll do better.

      Good night.

  3. Hello María Luísa,

Thank you for your nice contribution and thank you, Esti, for your corrections. They are OK. There are a few more mistakes. You say a hundred children. (not: of children). You have pets and you walk with THEM (not: they, it's object here). You usually say she-dogs. I also have one she-dog and a cat, but I don't go for walks with the cat. (Hay otra palabra para perra: bitch, pero esta palabra se evita ya que se utiliza a veces para insultar: hijo de ... a bitch.)

    Kind regards,
    Ann Thorsson TAR
