daily routines
All the days I get up at eight o´clock, I have a shower after, I have breakfast I drink a glass of milk with cereals.
I leave home at half past nine and I go to the gym for do aerobics, I have a shower again.
On Mondays I leave to the gym at half past twelve and I go at restaurant for meet to my friends, we have lunch and then we go to shopping, we like see the shops of shoes.
I get home at quarter to nine, I have dinner with my family. When I finish to dinner I watch tv and at half past twelve I go to bed.

The members of my family are my mother, my father, my sister and my grandfathers.
My mother´s name is Paqui. She works in home she´s a housewife.
She´s cooks very well, I like her meat.
My mum likes watching romantic films but she can´t stand watching science films.
My mum is very beautiful, she has a short hair, a green eyes and nice smile. Her clothes is casual, she likes wearing skirt and pullover.
My father´s name is Carlos. My dad is and electrician. He´s a tall man, he´s bald and he has god a beard and grey hair. He likes reading a history books but he hate the aventure books.
My sister´s name is Mary, she has thirty-six years old. She´s a teacher of music and she works in a primary school.
She has a long dark hair, brown eyes and she´s pretty. She likes wearing blue jeans in her free time but she wears formal clothes to Monday to Friday.

The House of my dreams.
The house of my dreams is not a high building. It would be based on " U " letter, two floors and one great central garden.
There would be many big wooden windows in white walls.
There would have nice moderm kitchen with all the machines with kitchens works. The dinning room would be in sunny colours and we would can go out the garden when there would be hot days.
On two floor of the house would be the bedrooms. Each bedroom would have its own bathroom.
My bedroom would be a beautiful and light place with furniture made of wooden but with Japanese style .
The whole house with green technology and self.

A typical day
On a typical day I get up early, about half past six. I have breakfast at home. I drink coffe with milk and eat two toast with butter. After I have a shower.
I leave home at half past sevent and take my car to go to work. I´m nurse and I work in a hospital.
My work star at 8 o´clock in the morning and I finish at 3 o´clock.
Sometimes I have lunch in the work with some colleagues and other times I have lunch in my house.
Then, in the afternoon, I go to the University last 8 o´clock.
At 10 o´clock I have dinner in my house
On Monday and wendays I´m going to the gym and on Friday and Saturday I´m going to pub with my friends

On the boat we will have many activities to do and many entertainment and in the evening will have shows and disco.
I think, we´ll stay very well.

I´m on holiday in Scotland. It´s a very beautiful city, and I´m having a fantastic time. I´m visiting all the most important sights and I´m speaking quite English too !.
At the moment I´m sitting in a pub in Glasgow with Jeru. Today we have free time for see the city . Yesterday we went to the Inverewe gardens, their are full of tropical plants, It´s a great treasure.
Tomorrow we are going to Skye island, also we´re going to see the Kilt Rocks cliffs after we´re going to Ness lake.

My favourite book
I've read a lot of books in my life, but the best book in my opinion is "Crusade in jeans", from 1994 and its writer is Thea Beckman.
This books is about a boy that travels across the time and he appears in 1212, in the Middle Age.
He experiences many obstacles and calamities with his new friends, until he manages to arrive his time.
I read it when I was fifteen years old, and it shoked me.
In my opinion, it's the best book I have read.

My last holiday
My last holiday
The last holiday I went to Tunisia with a friend. We went to tour round Tunisia.
In the hotel there were many activites, for example : go swimming, shopping, go to a nightclub, drive cars, do aerobics, etc…
We went to the beach and went for a walk on the sand , there were many people.
We rode to camel by desert and went for a walk by the desert and also went to Oasis in middle of desert by 4x4, it was very funny.
We knew some towns of Tunisia like: Cartago, Nabul, el Yem ( is a roman coliseum in ruins ) , sidi Bu Said ( the town of two colours, all the houses are white and blue ) , Hamamet, etc.
I like it all.

The kitchen has got a cook, an american fridge, a microwave, a dishwasher, a washing machine , tumble-dryer and many cupboards.
The bedrooms, two are quite big and other is small. In the smallest bedroom I´ll have got a computer and CD player ,I´ll spend a lot of time there . In my bedroom I´ll have got a big bed with two bedside tables with two lamps, a dressing room and a bathroom.
I like it live there because , there are many shops and bars , there are many live in this place

Film or book
In my opinion a better film was "Three colors: Blue" from 1993 and the director was Kieslowski (more or less). It's the first of the trielogy of fims dealing with contemporary French society. It's about how the wife of a composer deals with the death of her husband and child. Of course it's a drama and it stars Juliette Binoche. Movie shows sensations and feelings communicated almost exclusively across the light, the music, and the looks. I think it's a masterpiece.
Dear Carmen!
We've arrived at Eurodisney, and it's terrible (for me) and worderfull (for my children).
We're staying in "an authentic old Wester town surrouning, Disney's Hotel Cheyenne".
About the weather, it has been fantastic so we've spent hours at the outdoor pool and at the whirlpool bath. It's posible to go some sporting activities (golf, treetop adventure trail, skating rink, an more activities) but we haven't played because we haven't free time.
Well, we are going to have dinner.
We see you the nest week.

My village
Hello everybody!
My village has about 2.300 inhabitants. It's near the cost, more or less than 4 km from the sea. It has beaches in the north, and it has a big village in the east, Castro urdiales, and another in the west, laredo.From the house windows i can see mountains and forests. The landscape is a beautiful valley with a river runs throught it. It's very quiet. But there are somethings than I don't like. There aren't libraries, cinemas, art galleries, train station, ect. We need to take private transportation to go to work, the student's institutes, to the cinema, to the swimming pool..... to too much activities!. I think, it's a problem!

My last Holiday
Last Holy Week, I went to Asturias to visit my family's boyfriend.
The journey was very long, but I enjoyed very much.
I left home at half past five in the morning and we arrived there at half past ten in the morning, because of it, we take to arrive about five hours.
When we arrived at family's boyfriend house, aunts, cousins and the small niece Laura, were waiting for us and they made happy because they took long time without seeing to us.
We were there for four days. They were a short holidays, but we had a great time.
On summer holidays

I've got my own floor.There isn't a garage in the hause but there are tree bedrooms.

Our floor have got a large living- room,with dinner area.

I’m so glad that you want come to Spain. Now, I live in Jaen, in the south of Spain.
Jaen is a small city but it is very beautiful. In Jaen there are lots of shops and pubs, it has got some interesting monuments (The Cathedral, Santa Catalina’s Castle) and the food is wonderful.
Near Jaen there are beautiful villages: Ubeda, Baeza… but I don’t like that Jaen hasn’t got beach.

My family
My family
My name is Camino and I’m 37 years old. I live in Madrid close to The Retiro Park with my son. His name is Nacho and he is 18 years old. We live close to my parents. My parents are retired and they travel a lot with their friends. They usually go to Salamanca because they born there. In Salamanca live their cousins.
David is my brother. He is a policeman and he live with his girlfriend close to me. Her name is Paula and she is an English teacher in a school in Madrid.
Maria is my sister and she is married with Javier. They have got two children. Aitana is 4 and Daniel is 2. They live in El Espinar but they work in Madrid. My sister is a nurse in a big hospital.
At the weekend, we eat together in my parent’s house. In summer, we always go holidays together for two weeks.

On Wednesdays, I go to paint classes because I like paint and draw a lot. On Thursdays, I go to English classes and later I meet with friends in a bar close to my house. On Fridays, I usually go to the cinema with friends or my son. At the weekend, I stay with my family in Madrid or we often go to Salamanca because we have got a house there.

I leave home at quarter to eight and I get to work at quarter past eight. I start working at half past eight. Later I go for a walk with my colleagues for fifteen minutes.
At two o’clock I have lunch in the office. I begin to work at three o’clock again.
I leave the office at six o’clock and I go walking to my house.
I get home at half past six then I stay with my son until eight.

Hola de nuevo.
Os he propuesto un pequeño ejercicio de redacción. De momento, sé que las estructuras son muy limitadas, al igual que el vocabulario, pero debemos empezar a intentar hacer oraciones. El pequeño ejercicio de redacción que os he propuesto que intentaseis hacer, es el ejercicio 8 "what do you do in your free time?" de la página 27. Se trata de que habléis de las actividades que hacéis en vuestro tiempo libre, muy en general. Tendríais que empezar por: " My name is.... I work in.... but I do a lot of things in my free time. On Mondays, I...." (Mi nombre es.... Trabajo en .... pero hago muchas cosas en mi tiempo libre. Los lunes....) Podéis usar como referencia, para hacer unas líneas, la transcripción del ejercicio de "listening" 3.3 en la página 151.

Hola a todos otra vez.
Ya veo que el blog está funcionando muy bien. Os recuerdo que, aquellos que tenéis mejor dominio de la materia, podéis hacer comentarios a los escritos de vuestros propios compañeros, porque es una muy buena forma de aprender.
El título de la siguiente redacción, podría ser: A typical day in your life.
Se trata de que contéis un poco todas las rutinas que hacéis en vuestra vida cotidiana, para practicar con el presente simple y también con el vocabulario de rutinas y actividades, las horas... Por ejemplo: I get up at eight o'clock, then (después) I have breakfast at half past eight.... Parecido a lo que se hace en el "listening" 2.2 pero mucho más breve.
Mucho ánimo y no dejéis de escribir, porque es fundamental que escribáis todo lo que podáis.

Malaga is a beautiful city and we can do many things there. Malaga is in the south-east of Spain and it is famous for its beaches and its good weather. There are times when we can go to the beache in winter. But Malaga also has other interestings things to visit.
We can go to the Mountains of Malaga to see the landscape and to try its typical food. It's very good.
We can go to Marbella, in the west. It is a very elegant town, where there are many shops and in addition we can visit the famous Marina, there are lots of luxurius ships and cars in him, and we can meet famous people.
We can also visit Benalmádena, where there is a very polular amusement park.
In the city of Málaga we can visit the Cathedral, the fort and especially the Museum Picasso, where we are going to see marvellous works of art.
At night we can go to have dinner to a typical restaurant of Málaga, where they serve fries fish, and then, we can go dancing to a nightclub.
We will have a great time.

There are a lot of park:Hyde Park, Green park, St. james park....
There are very palaces and monuments. Big Ben, Tower bridge, St. Paul´s Cathedral.
We have gone to Victoria Station area.
In the east of London it is the sea ,and so it is very humid.
There is tipical bus with two foors. I like British museum, in London. It is very interesting museun.
My son live in the south.In the Briston City, is very beautiful.
I dont´t like go in winter, because is very cold.London and Briston are very very beautiful citys.

Thanks for your email about USA. I think it's a really interesting place.
I live in Madrid. It's a big city and the Capital of Spain. You can visist Museums, churches, parks... and other places very interesting.
In Madrid you can go shopping too. There are a lot of restaurants and bares. In the north of the city we have mountains and people go for walking and in winter you can do skiing.
Near to Madrid, there small cities very beautiful like to Avila or Toledo. A lot of tourists visist this villages every weekend.

Spain is beautiful, with many contrasts, the north is very green with large meadows and mountains, with small but very beautiful beaches, in the east there are huge beaches and a lot of partying, oh and the modern and avant-garde city of Barcelona; in the center the huge plateaus and the great city od Madrid; in the west Galicia and its estuaries, they are fantastic, and warmth farther south. Because in the south is the sun, beaches, mountains ( Sierra Nevada, snow at a few miles from the sea) and in the south of the south the best landscape Cabo de Gata, a place to get better.

Hi Mary.
If you come to visit Elche there are many places and activities to enjoy the city. It´s a very interesting country.
Monuments, museums, shops and beaches.
The museums are "museo arquelógico" in the palace of Altamira, the museum of "la festa" there speak about the "la festa" of the "misteri", if you want to see it you have to come in August.
There are shops and you can go out by night.
Also there are beaches in the south are "los arenales".
Elche is a very nice city, I hope you can come this summer.

First Essay (primera redacción)
Hola a todos
Para aquellos que no habéis practicado, os voy a proponer el primer ejercicio de redacción que os propone el libro. Es muy sencillo, pero hasta que empecemos a redactar por primera vez, no vamos a entender lo difícil que es la primera vez.
Entonces, de lo que se trata es que escribáis un email, como el que aparece en la página 143 de vuestro libro de texto, donde, además, de encontrar un email, os explican las partes del mismo. De momento, lo que se pretende es que tomando este como referencia, escribáis vosotros uno cambiando algunos datos o frases. De momento eso sería suficiente.
Podéis hacerlo a través de la palabra "comments" que aparece en este blog o escribiendo un "post nuevo" como el que yo acabo de escribir.
Ánimo y no dejéis de practicar.
