In Madrid the weather is very bad, It hasn't stopped raining but there is good and you can go to the beach.
Do you have see kangaroos and koalas?
Do you like the city? I hope that you haven't problems with the language.

I´m so glad that you want to come. I only know the centre "London area"and a bit south.
There are a lot of park:Hyde Park, Green park, St. james park....
There are very palaces and monuments. Big Ben, Tower bridge, St. Paul´s Cathedral.
We have gone to Victoria Station area.
In the east of London it is the sea ,and so it is very humid.
There is tipical bus with two foors. I like British museum, in London. It is very interesting museun.
My son live in the south.In the Briston City, is very beautiful.
I dont´t like go in winter, because is very cold.London and Briston are very very beautiful citys.
I hope we meet here in summer.

Thanks for your email about USA. I think it's a really interesting place.

I live in Madrid. It's a big city and the Capital of Spain. You can visist Museums, churches, parks... and other places very interesting.

In Madrid you can go shopping too. There are a lot of restaurants and bares. In the north of the city we have mountains and people go for walking and in winter you can do skiing.

Near to Madrid, there small cities very beautiful like to Avila or Toledo. A lot of tourists visist this villages every weekend.

I hope you can come in June!

How is it going?, here in the Spain the weather is not very good.


Spain is beautiful, with many contrasts, the north is very green with large meadows and mountains, with small but very beautiful beaches, in the east there are huge beaches and a lot of partying, oh and the modern and avant-garde city of Barcelona; in the center the huge plateaus and the great city od Madrid; in the west Galicia and its estuaries, they are fantastic, and warmth farther south. Because in the south is the sun, beaches, mountains ( Sierra Nevada, snow at a few miles from the sea) and in the south of the south the best landscape Cabo de Gata, a place to get better.

I hope you can see it soon.

Hi Mary.
If you come to visit Elche there are many places and activities to enjoy the city. It´s a very interesting country.
Monuments, museums, shops and beaches.
The museums are "museo arquelógico" in the palace of Altamira, the museum of "la festa" there speak about the "la festa" of the "misteri", if you want to see it you have to come in August.
There are shops and you can go out by night.
Also there are beaches in the south are "los arenales".
Elche is a very nice city, I hope you can come this summer.

First Essay (primera redacción)

Hola a todos

Para aquellos que no habéis practicado, os voy a proponer el primer ejercicio de redacción que os propone el libro. Es muy sencillo, pero hasta que empecemos a redactar por primera vez, no vamos a entender lo difícil que es la primera vez.

Entonces, de lo que se trata es que escribáis un email, como el que aparece en la página 143 de vuestro libro de texto, donde, además, de encontrar un email, os explican las partes del mismo. De momento, lo que se pretende es que tomando este como referencia, escribáis vosotros uno cambiando algunos datos o frases. De momento eso sería suficiente.

Podéis hacerlo a través de la palabra "comments" que aparece en este blog o escribiendo un "post nuevo" como el que yo acabo de escribir.

Ánimo y no dejéis de practicar.

Este blog lo he creado por aquellos alumnos que no tienen quien les corrija sus redacciones, así que la idea es que todos escribáis aquí redacciones que yo, o cualquier otro tutor del CUID, os sugiera y que entre todos os hagáis correcciones.
